Country: Zambia
Place:Mungwi
Sector: Sanitary
Financing Institution: Private funds
Duration: 2 years

The seropositive rate in Zambia is 17%: this causes a very low life expectancy and troubles the population which is particularly poor in this area.
The nuns, thanks to a nearby dispensary which gives antiretroviral drugs for free, try to make the children attending school undergo periodical exams at the surgery. Seropositive children need human as well as health care assistance: this is why the school expansion is positive to better off the weakest part of the population.
